The ongoing issue of the banks crisis was discussed during Leaders' Questions this morning when the Labour Leader Eamon Gilmore questioned the Taoiseach about shady dealings in Anglo Irish Bank.
While Deputy Gilmore acknowledged that problems in banking and the economy are happening worldwide he added that 'we do see in other countries that wrongdoing is outed and illegality is punished'.
He reiterated the call made by Deputy Joan Burton, Labour's Spokesperson on Finance, that a High Court inspector should be appointed to investigate Anglo Irish Bank, a proposal which was voted down by the Government.
Deputy Gilmore then asked the Taoiseach:
What investigations are underway in respect of Anglo Irish Bank?
Who is conducting the investigation and when will we find out the true about what happened in the bank, who was involved and if there was illegal actions what action will be taken?
You can see Eamon's contribution in the accompanying video and read the full transcript of proceedings on the Oireachtas website.
We would like to know what you think. Do you believe enough is being done in regard to the goings-on in Anglo Irish and what you think should be done about it. Please let us know in the comments.

The international financial community have already lost faith in the corporate governance of this country. They are also well aware of our governments complicity in all of this mess.An example needs to be made, in the form of a "perp walk" There is no shortage of candidates. The Anglo Irish affair in my opinion, has to have been in breach of company law.Loaning certain people money to in turn by shares in the bank, all the while the banks shares are trading on the stock exchange is illegal.
