Cllr Caroline Townsend
I successfully contested the 2009 election to Carlow County Council for the first time. My father is Cllr. Jim Townsend, he has represented the people of Carlow and its surrounding areas for the past 30 years. I have lived all my life in Ballybar Upper, Tinryland. I attended Tinryland National School and Presentation College, Carlow. I also attended Carlow Vocational School for an additional two years. I have been working in Raths/Londis, Pollerton Road, Carlow for nearly 14 years.
I have one daughter who attends school in St. Leos, Carlow. I hope to serve the people of Carlow East to the best of my ability, combining hard work with honest representation.
