Carrie SmythCllr Carrie Smyth

You are very welcome to my Labour Party webpage.

I was co-opted to Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council in 2003 following the untimely death of my late father Councillor Frank Smyth.  Thanks to the tremendous support of the voters of the Ballybrack Ward, I was re-elected to Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council in the 2004 and 2009 Local Elections for the Labour Party.  Having spent all my life in the area, I am honored to represent the residents of Ballybrack, Bray, Cabinteely, Johnstown, Killiney, Loughlinstown, Rathmichael and Shankill.

At the Annual General Meeting of the Council in June 2009, I was elected onto the Social Inclusion Measure Committee, Joint Policing Committee, County Dublin Vocational Education Committee and the Organisation, Procedure and Protocol Committee.

I am committed to continuing to improve local services and facilities for all residents of the Ballybrack Ward.

As always I am available and urge you to contact me at any time as I have been elected to serve our community.

Carrie
Your Neighbour and Councillor.
