Welcome to my contribution to the Labour Party's website. I hope you find it useful and I very much welcome your feedback.
I was elected on the first count to Edenderry Town Council in June 2009. This was my first outing as a Labour Party representive in Edenderry Co.Offaly, where I have lived for the last sixteen years.
I fully aim to build on this initial success and I am dedicated to providing the community of Edenderry Co.Offaly a better fairer choice of elected representive, the people of Edenderry Co.Offally have for far to long have been poorly served by their local political representives.
I am busy working on local and community issues here in Edenderry. Much of of the work I carry out is informed by regular door to door visits that I carry out in the town. These visits allow me the opportunity to listen to the voiced concerns of the local community. Indeed throughout my canvassing and subsequent house calls, the issue of civic and social amenities in Edenderry has been continually highlighted to me. To this end, I am playing a very active roll in securing these facility and am working with local and county bodies to bring a better service to the community of Edenderry Co.Offaly.
