Ger Dunne is committed to the people of Naas. The father of four children, three boys and one girl, he and his wife Catherine are both natives of Naas, Ger being himself from a long established Naas family. Having spent all his working life in Naas and currently working with Kildare Local Authorities as a supervisor he knows what is needed to make Naas and the community better.

Ger attended school in Naas and being actively involved in sports, having played soccer and gaelic football for local teams, knows the importance of developing better recreational and sports facilities for young people.

He has a strong trade union background having served in many positions including that of shop steward, member of the National appeals committee and member of the partnership forum and delegate to the Kildare/Athy branch of SIPTU. He is currently secretary of the Kildare Local Authority section of SIPTU and Chairman of the H&S committee within local authority.

Ger says, “ I am proud to have been born and raised in Naas and want to earn your respect and support to make Naas a better place for our children, our older people and our families.
