DEADLINE APPROACHES FOR GRANT AID AVAILABLE FOR RECYCLING IDEAS –TUFFY
Issued : Monday 10 January, 2011
Statement by Joanna Tuffy TD Labour Spokesperson on the Environment.
"Any local business or individual with a good idea for working with
recyclable materials should be aware that the deadline for applying for a
Feasibility Study Grant Aid Fund is fast approaching.
rx3, a Government supported body set up under the Market Development Group
have made a call for ideas or project concepts for recyclable materials
that have not yet been explored. rx3 can provide grant aid for a
feasibility study to asses if the idea is technically, operationally,
commercially and legally viable.
There is huge potential in this area. Individuals and businesses should be
aware that this funding is available. It could give a very simple idea the
lift it needs to get off the ground and become a viable business. The
deadline for applying for this grant aid is Friday, 21st January next.
The call for ideas is open to any Irish company, organisation, group,
research body or individual operating or residing in Ireland. If anyone has
any questions on applying for the grant aid, they can make enquiries
directly to the rx3 team at info@rx3.ie or by accessing their website at
www.rx3.ie. would urge anyone with an idea, no matter how trivial it might seem, to
check out rx3 to see if they are eligible to apply for the grant."
