Cllr Joe Ryan
Joe is one of 4 Labour Councilors in Wexford Town and was first elected to Wexford Borough Council in 2004. Joe was re-elected in 2009. Joe is and former Mayor of Wexford and has also served as Deputy Mayor of Wexford Town for 2007-08. Joe is a member of Co. Wexford VEC and serves as the Vice Chairperson of the VEC and chairperson of the VEC Audit Committee. Joe represented the VEC on the board of Wexford Vocational School. He is also a member of the Environment Committee of Wexford Borough Council. Joe was a member of Wexford Harbour Commissioners until its abolition in 2010.
Joe is also a member of the ASTI and was the founding chairperson of both his local residents association and the Wexford Branch of the educational lobby group TLC.
