Feely secures Trade Union support for Leitrim Enterprise nomination

Labour Party local representative John Feely has been appointed to the Leitrim County Enterprise Board on the nomination of SIPTU.
John stated "I hope to bring my industrial and business experience to the Board so that employment opportunities are created within the county". John is an industrial chemist with a master's degree in economics and statistics. He is currently a part-time business studies lecturer, having previously worked in the chemicals, computer and engineering industries.
John was also elected to the Central Council of the Labour Party by Roscommon South Leitrim constituency council. The Central Council develops Labour Party policy, approves election manifestos and approves the terms for participation in government post a general election.
