Following the Nenagh Town Council Election on Friday and the count which followed on Saturday may I express my sincere thanks to all those, too many to mention individually, who supported me through out the campaign. To the kind words of inspiration and the courtesy given to me by the many people I met during the course of my canvass. To all those who were manning the Polling Stations and to the Returning Officer and his staff. May I say a special thank you to everyone that voted for me and were responsible for getting me elected and to my campaign manager, Johnnie Whelan and his team who worked tirelessly on my behalf.
It’s with great pride that I take a seat on the Town Council, following in the footsteps of my late father, Milo McGee. I look forward to working with my fellow councillors, both old and new, for the benefit of the town and the local people.
