Cllr. Monica Harford has been Cathaoirleach Balbriggan Town Council four times since her election, first co-opted on to Balbriggan Town Commission in December 1989 and re-elected in 1994, 1999, 2004 and in 2009
Monica campaigns for:
- Adequate Primary and Secondary Schools to suit the growing population of Balbriggan
- Sufficient medical care and home care services and facilities to provide for the elderly, the young, the disabled, and the less fortunate within our community
- Suitable accommodation for local young families who are on long waiting lists for housing
- Support for local business and traders who are providing welcome employment.
