Cllr Niamh McGowan
Hi, I'm Niamh McGowan, a new councillor representing Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin and Dunboyne. I was born and spent my early years in Ratoath, where both my parents taught in Ratoath National School. I'm currently living in Ashbourne and working as a practising barrister, specialising in employment, labour and equality law.
As a working mother of two young children, I have a good understanding of the needs and concerns of many people and families in Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin and across south Meath. I believe we have to do more to improve the quality of life of people in south Meath, and Meath County Council has a central role to play in that. If elected I will strive to ensure that Meath County Council delivers the services, facilities and supports which the people and communities of south Meath need and deserve
