Peter is self employed in the town as a plumber. Recently married, he lives in Old Chapel. Peter is passionate about contributing to Bandon as it is a town that he intends to live and work in.

As a self -employed person Peter can relate to the uncertainty that many people are facing in the current economic climate. Partly because of this Peter wants to contribute to the development of Bandon and to work towards supporting local employment and creating better facilities to make Bandon a better town.

He wants to be a voice for the local community and to help improve the quality of life for all the people of the town.

Of primary concern to Peter are the needs of younger people in the town and the need to create better facilities both for them and older people. A community centre, swimming pool are issues which he feels needs to be addressed. There are little or no facilities for teenagers and he would work hard to create facilities to channel their energies both in terms of providing facilities but also engaging with young people to work towards improving the town.

He is anxious to support the Tidy Towns campaign and to improve the services provided by the Health Centre and Community Hospital. Adequate parking and the abolition of pay parking are a priority for him.
