Tomas HannonCllr Tomas Hannon

Welcome to my website - I'm delighted you have stopped by.

I have been living in Dromore Rise, Raheen for the past 25 years. I was co-opted to Limerick County Council on September 2008, replacing Deirdre Ní Chinnéide, and was elected for my first full term as a Councillor in the local elections in 2009. I have been a lifelong member of the Labour Party. I have served as Constituency Secretary of the Limerick East Constituency Council and was Director of Elections in 2004 for Deirdre Ní Chinnéide, winning a seat on Limerick County Council for Labour in the Bruff electoral area for the first time. During my time in the party I have played a central role in the electoral careers of the late Jim Kemmy T.D. and Jan O’Sullivan T.D.

As part of my duties on the council I am currently Chairman of the Housing S.P.C., and a Member of both the Transport and Infrastructure S.P.C. and the Limerick County Joint Policing Authority. If there is anything I can help you with please contact me using the contact details listed on my blog and on my Labour Party page.
