Cllr William Quinn
William Quinn was selected by local Labour members to succeed the County Council vacated as a result of Michael Meaney's death. He was elected to the Council in 2009
Michael had given more than 30 years of service to the people of the Borris area of Carlow as a public representative. He was proud of his small farming background and gave great service to the people of his area, which they rewarded by re-electing him time after time.
